Put a Bicycle on It

Dress c/o eShakti.com, Necklace/Booties: gift, Tights: Target
Have you ever heard of eShakti.com? It's this cute clothing site that in addition to selling darling dresses and skirts allows you to customize the items you buy. You can raise or lower hem lines, change sleeve lengths, and adjust the neckline. If you want to get super fancy pants, you can even give them your measurements (hip, waist, bust, etc.), and they make your clothing item according to your specifics. I, of course, was too lazy to bother with a measuring tape and merely gave them my dress size and adjusted the hem to my whims. Admittedly, the one downside to customized clothing is that it takes a teeny, tiny bit longer to be delivered than standard websites, but the perfect fit is well worth the 2-days-more wait. (I'm so spoiled by 2-day shipping.) Especially when the perfect fit has embroidered bicycles, a vintage bust, and POCKETS. If you are looking for a new spring dress (I like to pretend winter doesn't happen), you should definitely check out eShakti.com.

  1. shut the front door. I need this website. I love 3/4 length sleeves, but can never find them on the shirts or dresses I like the best. And skirts are always just the tiniest bit too short.

Your dress is cute! love it!

  2. I like the idea behind eShakti, but with international shipping rates, it's just always too expensive. The dress is really cute, good choice!

  4. What a cute dress! I hate eShakti for having such cute dresses and the whole modesty option. I ordered a dress from them a few years ago and it was terrible quality. This makes me want to give them another shot though.
